Canoe South Saskatchewan River
Canoeing
on the
South Saskatchewan
River

This is a picture journal of a pleasant three day canoe trip on the South Saskatchewan River in July 2006.
From the Bridge on secondary highway 879 just north of Bow Island to Echo Dale Park near Medicine Hat Alberta.
When the river is high this trip can be done in one day but in July with a low slow river this was an nice three day paddle.
Bring LOTS of drinking water with you. It can get very hot in the River Valley.
